Been a member for a couple months now and as hard as your worked the coaches know there stuff and support you to reach your individual goals. Personally I've lifted heavier than ever and am being coached to maintain good form throughout, I feel a huge boost in strength and stamina and I'm still a newbie. I definitely vouch for this gym and the CF family you join, you know your not on your own on your journey. And its good fit for all abilities
I have been training in various gyms for over 25 years; from weightlifting, combat and with elite personal trainers specialising in specific sports. I have never been in such a positive and productive environment where the balance of performance and community is spot on like Aphobos. All credit to the owners and trainers (Gemma and Danny) who clearly lead from the front, and their spirit flows downhill through their quality personal trainers, straight into us as members. My only regret is that I didn’t join earlier as the attention to detail and results that have followed are nothing short of exceptional. Long may this continue!
I joined Aphobos CrossFit two years ago, and it’s one of the best decisions I’ve made for my health and overall well-being. The coaching team is incredibly knowledgeable and supportive. They’ve helped me improve my technique, build strength, and stay consistent in ways I never managed on my own before. The programming is challenging but always scalable, which made it easy to progress safely while still pushing myself. What truly sets Aphobos apart is the community. Over the past two years, I’ve met so many encouraging, hard-working people who make every class something to look forward to. Whether it’s celebrating PBs or just getting through a tough workout together, the environment is always positive and motivating. After two years, I’m stronger, more confident, and genuinely excited to keep showing up. If you’re looking for a place that combines great coaching, effective workouts, and an amazing community, I highly recommend Aphobos CrossFit. As for results, well, my photos speak for themselves. When I started I was skinny and not athletic at all. Now I’ve bulked up, I’m eating right, and this year I just got my first toes-to-bar, 100kg back squat, climbing a rope with no legs, and 135kg deadlift. I also have the confidence and ability to take on more hobbies, like BJJ, running, and bouldering. Honestly, life changing.
