Bar Beach Grill Restaurant Lewisham

This place has so much potential, provided it can review its prices, menu items and service. We went there a couple of months ago - a couple of items were missing, but what we had was really tasty. The atmosphere was nice and we liked the decoration. The main problem to me is the pricing - it is very expensive for the neighbourhood which is such a shame, given it is great to have a local Caribbean restaurant in Lewisham. Other Caribbean restaurants in central London even tend to cheaper prices.

Had initially booked the sister restaurant but they were closed for the week and we rebooked the Loampit Branch. The food was good and drinks were great. The grilled fish looked like enough for 2 people and the prawns were well cooked. Would recommend and return.

Waiting just for the drink took long to come to the table, I feel if you are front of house just do that do be taken money touching food touching the straw without gloves the straw that customers are using with their lips hygiene. Staff handling food while wearing their outside coat. Only once anyone came to the table to ask if we were ok. Had to wait 25 minutes before food arrived if that the waiting time there should be nibbles . Music fantastic. Drinks was a disappointment at £13.00 I expect better taste.
