If I could give the service and attitude of this place less than one star I would. Went on a Sunday at noon as soon as they opened. Completely empty venue, with multiple bar seats and other tables available - not a single person in the whole place other than the service staff. Asked for a table for one, was told “no possibility to be seated” given the reservations made the kitchen at capacity(????) and “that’s just how the kitchen works, sorry”. THERE WAS NOT A SINGLE OTHER PERSON IN THE WHOLE PLACE. I was told I could not be seated even if I ordered right away in advance of other reservations arriving. You’re “sorry”? Well, I’m really sorry for you, because consumers have venues like this review platform to show the true colours of their attitude. I’m sorry I wasn’t the right race to be served in your classy pretentious ‘gastropub’ (would I ruin the atmosphere and mood?). Absolutely pretentious bunch of racists acting like they are a fine dining establishment refusing to serve locals. Probably watched too much of The Bear on Disney+ and think they are gods or culinary masters. With the attitude that they have now, they only deserve financial destress. Good luck.

Old corner pub with rather spartan interior. Nice, fairly short, menu of starters, mains and puddings. Very good service. Small portions and rather expensive for what you get, but a good visit for us.
