Super friendly staff, lovely sandwiches and coffee

Ordered a £3.90 cappuccino today and it was OK for a few sips but then tasted like liquid sugar as it must have been two tablespoons of sugar in there not teaspoons 😂. Tried but failed to get Tastecard discount but when I was disappointed the lady says ‘We are not Starbucks’ - well Starbucks ain’t on Tastecard and Caffe Papavero (an equally small business and better tasting coffee at £2.10 a few steps down inside Greenwich station) is?? Was tempted by the pastries but thank god I wasn’t 😂😅. Best trying someplace else. P.S. just had this review challenged by the business apparently. Google approved my appeal, so I guess the owners need to grow up and take criticism where it’s due.

Worst flat white I’ve very had the displeasure of drinking. When it came it was just the milkiest saddest looking cup of coffee - no foam at all. Took a few sips and it barely tasted of coffee. Pointed this out to the barista. She said our decaf isn’t that strong so I’ll give you an extra shot. There I was thinking she would make a fresh one… nope just another shot of decaf into the same sad milky cup. Disappointing for £3.75 a cup and when there’s so much other good coffee about in Greenwich. Go to Royal Hill Cafe instead.

We went for breakfast and I tried the avocado toast and 2 poached eggs, delicious 😋 and a latte, the service was very friendly and the place very nice
