Jodie always makes me feel fabulous!! Such a lovely experience having my fringe cut and coloured today. The stylists at DKUK are really passionate about cool hair and always listen carefully to what I want. I was really looking forward to my first visit to DKUK Hair Salon because I’d heard they have art on the walls instead of mirrors and truly consider clients who feel anxious or overwhelmed during salon visits. As much as I like getting a cut, the process itself usually leaves me feeling overwhelmed — but I'm happy to say that I have finally found my salon. From the very first moment Daniel welcomed me, I knew they meant what they advertised. Low-volume music, a calming scent throughout the space, and many small, thoughtful details made me feel at ease. I felt grounded, calm, and genuinely ready for my cut. I got my cut from Vera Lynn, and I truly loooove it. She listened to all my likes and dislikes, answered all my questions, and when I finally saw myself in the mirror after the cut, all I could think was: finally — someone heard me and delivered. I can’t remember the last time I was so excited about a haircut. I am definitely coming back — not only for my next cut, but to support a business that genuinely cares not just about its clients, but about its community.

It's is unlike any salon I’ve ever visited. Not your typical salon lined with mirrors but instead the space also doubles as an art gallery, and the paintings are all very unique! I don't often try new styles, usually just trim the existing basic cut. However, I decided to try something new, and the stylist was fantastic. They listened, made a few helpful suggestions, and somehow got the look right. Genuinely happy with the result— got quite a few compliments and it's not even been 24hours since my appointment!
