The Greenwich Nest

Stopped in for late breakfast, and was so happy we did!! Firstly, adorable and comfortable space for a meal, a quick meet-up, or work/study. We started with coffees that were fantastic and made with obvious pride and care. Absolutely delicious. The owner later told us they carry 5 or more different specialty coffees to choose from. For breakfast, one of us ordered a simple scrambled eggs and toast from the add-ons section of them menu. Perfectly cooked eggs and crusty sourdough was great. I couldn’t decide between the shakshuka and the eggs royale- they unanimously said the shakshuka, and I’m so glad they did. It was brilliant - a perfect blend of tomatoes and spices with two perfectly cooked eggs all obviously finished in the oven as it should be. Again, the crusty sourdough was the perfect accompaniment. One of the best I’ve ever had. On the way out, we stopped by the coffee bar to order 2 more for take-away, and couldn’t help notice the pastries- a selection of mini cannoli and other choices. We chose 3 to try- two cannoli- the pistachio and the chocolate rochex, and a lemon ‘lobster tail’. They were wonderful- perfectly balanced flavors and sweet, and paired so well with the coffee. We departed so very happy, and will definitely come again soon. Highly recommended!

Wow! What a place to be! From the entrance to the very end, you truly feel like royalty here. The ambiance, the staff, the décor, and most importantly, the food everything is simply amazing. I’ve been to many cafes, but this one truly stands out. The presentation and portion sizes are impressive, especially considering the reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be visiting Greenwich Nest again whenever I’m in the area!
