Loved our first family visit to The Oak for a late Sunday Roast with our toddler. The food was incredible, particularly the roasties, which I’ve never experienced to be that good in pubs or restaurants but these were unreal and the flavours had me thinking about how I could recreate them at home. The staff were all so lovely and went out their way to make us feel welcome and looked after. Engagement with staff really adds so much to the experience of going to eat out and I personally appreciate this a lot. I’ve already raved about The Oak to the wider fam so will definitely be booking again soon. Superb spot!

If you’d like a Sunday roast DO NOT GO after 3pm. Third time this has happened even asking specifically if there will be a roast. I will not return as it’s a joke. The waitress smiles and laughs while telling you, you may get a better response if you don’t laugh while saying it! Pain as I do like the pub. Tigers it is
