The best GP practice I've been registered at. 5/5 from reception to doctors consultations, my expectations are consistently exceeded.

There have been multiple times I’ve considered leaving a negative review of this practice and held off, because I believe that the majority of staff here do care, even though the quality of service is often poor. However, when I came in yesterday to discuss scarring and discolouration that had been left on my neck following an allergic reaction or fungal infection (the prior GP wasn’t sure), I was met with some of the most baffling and patronising care I’ve ever received. The GP looked at my neck, where the marking was, and said “Ah, yes, as I expected - that’s a birth mark.” Already at this stage the tone was brusque and smug. I replied saying it wasn’t, to which the GP looked at me rather witheringly and said “How would you know?”. Well, I said, because I would have seen it on my neck. Her response. A condescending “Would you?” At no point did she ask what had caused the rash. At no point did she acknowledge the comments from her peers, the last one of whom had suggested I see a dermatologist if steroid cream didn’t return the skin to normal. Instead I was told that I had had this mark for life and then treated like an idiot for suggesting I hadn’t. Only a doctor with a very low estimation of their patients’ intelligence could act in this way. A sad state of affairs.

They made me pay 104£ for a yellow fever vaccination. Just £20 for a consultation, that I have never requested. I have friends that have paid in other pharmacies £30-40 less.
