Really nice food and lovely staff

On Sunday morning, my wife, my son, and I came across this pub with lovely views upstairs. We decided to go in for some drinks. As we entered, a waitress followed us and asked whether we were eating or just drinking. I explained we wanted to be seated first, but she said she needed to check with the manager. When she returned, she told us the upstairs area was only available by reservation. This was surprising, as there were plenty of empty tables. The whole interaction left us feeling unwelcome. I’ve travelled all over the world and never experienced something like this. It made us wonder if it was because we were wearing sport clothes or simply because we hadn’t declared we were dining. In the end, we walked out feeling very disappointed. A beautiful location, but unfortunately the service and attitude spoiled what could have been a pleasant visit.

Probably the best pub in Cutty Sark. Great view, lovely food and great selection of beers
