Anytime Fitness Lewisham

Equipment is some of the best I've come across from the other AF franchise gyms. Fairly clean and changing facilities are better than others. For the size of the gym (very small) it utilises the space well. For the negatives; the ventilation is VERY poor. By the time I've changed, put my stuff in the locker and started, I've already worked up a sweat. Hate to think what it's like in the summer. Only 3 changing rooms and majority of the lockers are broken. Lighting is awful. Gyms feels very dark, so not great for photos or content if thats your thing. Gym also lacks atmosphere. No energy, no music playing, barely come across any staff. Not a vibrant or welcoming place to motivate you to workout. Overall, good gym if you ONLY want to do your workout in a peaceful environment without hassle. It has all the basic equipment you need to get the job done, but If you're looking for vibes, atmosphere and a premium experience, this isn't the place for you.

If i could give zero stars i would, Manager tried to bully me and lied about cancelling my membership. There is no one further to complain too, the manager or company do not reply. Gym is nice but the managements behaviour, is not worth signing up for here. Did not return my £30 fob deposit either. Update* This gym started to make great improvements in which I signed back up however since recently it has gone back downhill such a shame. There seems to be no consistency

I visited the gym today for assistance with several calls there was no one attend to me.

Absolutely appalling behaviour from Staff experienced by not only myself but my partner too. For 3 months I had a contract which I was being charged for, but my fob was not allowing me into any sites. When I asked for this to be dealt with by a member of staff he had no idea how to help and just redirected me to an email address which he is in charge of. Also on another membership, I have been charged an extra 4 months of membership even though I have had numerous phone calls with members of staff, who are refusing to cancel my membership until I provide “proof of cancellation over the phone”. They are continuing to charge me even though I have already complained to them multiple times I do NOT want my membership as I do not even live in the country anymore. They will not budge and have been entirely unsympathetic and not once have I received more than a “please direct your query to our email address”. The Fob which allows entry in to their facilities has not been used in more than 4 months. All I want is my membership to be cancelled and for a refund for the time I told them I do not want a membership. Please avoid at all costs if you don’t want to be scammed of your money
