PureGym London Lewisham

It’s less than the bare minimum. Something is always broken (machines, blow driers, showers) it’s too small, and the men’s changing room stinks of sewage. No care taken at all, if you can afford better then go elsewhere.

PureGym Lewisham has a great vibe and everything you need for a solid workout. The PTs are friendly, helpful, and always make you feel welcome. A massive shout out to George Fenlon the assistant manager, who has been working his socks off. He’s kept the gym running smoothly. It’s clear that PureGym Lewisham is running as well as it is purely because of George’s hard work and dedication. Regional management and HR really need to recognise that , he’s going above and beyond what’s expected to keep members happy and the gym flowing. If HR are reading this, Give that man a raise. He’s earned it!

This gym needs to sort itself out. I'm on the verge of cancelling my membership and choosing an alternative gym in the area. In the last couple of weeks there has been no hot water. This is massively unsanitary, as one can't even wash their hands properly let alone shower. Added to that, the women's changing room was totally flooded and no staff were even there to sort it out. This is a clear health and safety issue. I've previously noted to the management that there needs to be better provision of paper towels and cleaning fluid so people can wipe down machines. I guess they don't care about hygiene.

This gym is great for evening classes.
