I always feel welcomed by the staff here at better. Whenever I walk in the building im greeted by polite staff. Good vibes, Good atmosphere. Welcoming of all ages, walks of life. This branch deserved some upgrades in terms of sauna, gym rooms, locker spaces ect. - NV
Good place shame that swim clubs take up all the lanes, so litterally left with not much of the pool if you want to swim. I'm not against swimming clubs but when they take up all but one lane its a bit of a joke.
I really wanted to enjoy it here and was even considering getting membership to make this my permanent gym. However, my experience and the cleanliness was not up to par. We came in to do gym and swimming today (Sunday) as a day pass and was greeted kindly by the gentleman at reception. My partner used the toilet but there was unfortunately no toilet paper. We went out to grab a swimming costume and returned about 20 minutes later. When we came back, there was no one at reception and we waited for over 5 minutes for someone to return. We explained that we had just bought a day pass, and the lady said ‘okay, I trust you’ and let us both through. We started at the gym which had some faulty equipment. Both the hip abduction and the seated leg press were not working and could not be adjusted. However, apart from this, it seemed clean and the atmosphere was calm and enjoyable. Myself and my partner then went downstairs to swim. The changing rooms were dirty. There were flies, and used, bloody plasters, tissue on the floor. Despite this we swam for well over an hour and had a good time. Here’s the bad bit. We left the pool at around 4 o’clock and cooled off in the sauna for about 45 minutes. We went to have another shower and was then told that we only have 5 more minutes until the place closes. This was strange to me as online it said 6pm. My partner had my bags and our towels so I asked a member of staff if I could go into the group changing rooms with him and he was extremely confrontational and said ‘what’s wrong with the male and female ones?’. I then explained that I need to use his towel and he said that we could change in the sauna. I asked if someone would tell people not to come in and he said no. We changed in the sauna anyway since it seemed easier. There was a faint, strange smell a bit like urine. We changed and kept an eye on the doors as each other was changing. He thought he dropped his airbud in between the wooden bench in the sauna, and as he looked with his phone flash light, he could see MAGGOTS all over the floor. Hundreds of them. We were both mortified and he was nearly sick. So, the staff at the pool were quite rude and the cleanliness of the sauna was below hellish. It is insane how it’s still open. I told a member of staff but was not offered a refund or anything despite me saying how traumatic the sight was. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!
I'm a member of this gym and use the classes they do a lot and I just want to say how amazing the teachers are! My regular classes with Tara, zussanna and farida they just bring the vibes and energy!! Thank you ladies
