Wavelengths Leisure Centre is located just a 5-minute walk from Deptford train station on the Lewisham and Greenwich border. Working in partnership with Lewisham Council, our 50 station gym also contains two fitness studios, plus a third studio on the first floor. The newly refurbished leisure pool is now open including a dedicated parent and toddler pool. Our 25m fitness pool is available for fitness swimming and family swimming throughout the week plus the new poolside health suite with sauna and steam room cabins, is now open. We offer a huge range of fitness classes from Group Cycle to Zumba. Our first-floor soft play offers a great space for our younger customers to have fun and burn some energy. If you live on the Lewisham/Greenwich border then Wavelengths has something for everyone to keep fit and active in Lewisham.

All round good service, including modern gym, exercise classes, swimming pools, sauna, steam room and friendly staff.
The changing rooms had a strong, unpleasant smell, like a urinal, and the showers were cold, which made it tough to enjoy my time. Some of the staff seemed uninterested and not very helpful, with body language that came across as unwelcoming. It feels like a bit of customer service training is needed. Overall, there’s potential here, but improvements in cleanliness and staff attitude are definitely needed. The centre needs an unexpected hygiene inspection for the health and safety of customers. Someone needs to be responsible for all the above. Yes it’s a good facility for the community well equipped and all, it’s just the hygiene is the problem.
